What does it really mean to be great in the Kingdom of God? In Matthew 20, Jesus completely redefines greatness. While the world measures success by position, possessions and power, Jesus shows us a different way. True greatness begins by bending our knee to Him, enduring pain with perseverance, living under godly authority and humbling ourselves to serve others. This message challenges us to examine what is truly first in our lives and reminds us that proximity to Jesus, not what we produce, determines Kingdom success. Following Jesus does not promise a life of comfort, but He faithfully walks with us through the pain and uses it to shape us. Jesus Himself is our ultimate example. He did not come to be served, but to serve and give His life as a ransom for many. In His Kingdom, greatness is not found by climbing over others to reach the top.
