About this episode

The episode discusses the expectations and challenges facing Enzo Maresca after Manchester City's squad overhaul.

Enzo Maresca has no excuses now. Manchester City have completely rebuilt their squad following Pep Guardiola’s departure, bringing in Enzo Fernández, Elliot Anderson, Ayyoub Bouaddi, Iliman Ndiaye, Allan Elias and Gerónimo Rulli. It's a squad full of vibrancy and creativity, and most importantly energy and hunger. After an encouraging start to the new Premier League season and an emphatic victory over Crystal Palace, Maresca has been given the quality and depth required to challenge for the biggest trophies. He still deserves patience, but after receiving this level of backing, Manchester City cannot treat the entire season as a transitional free hit. I discuss the expectations facing Maresca, the difficult selection decisions ahead and why City must now mount a serious Premier League title challenge. www.esteemedkompany.com 🔔 Subscribe for Man City videos: bit.ly/EsteemedKompany ✍️ Become a channel member: youtube.com/esteemedkompany/join 🤝 Support on Patreon: patreon.com/esteemedkompany Esteemed Kompany.
