In this guided emotional processing practice, we explore emotional inquiry as a way to build self-trust, nervous system safety, and emotional resilience. Because many of us don’t actually allow ourselves to fully feel emotions but instead we analyze them, avoid them, distract from them, or try to “fix” them before they’ve even had a chance to communicate. This episode walks through a gentle somatic practice designed to help you turn toward emotions with curiosity instead of fear. Rather than immediately escaping uncomfortable feelings, we practice noticing them in the body, observing their texture, movement, shape, intensity, and emotional tone without judgment or resistance. We also explore how emotional processing happens through presence, breath, embodiment, and nervous system regulation, not simply through overthinking or intellectualizing emotions.
