In the heart of Lafayette County in Mississippi, lies a town called Taylor. There’s a well-known creature that hides in the shadows, and occasionally makes itself known, that locals call the “Swamp Booger.” This creature, or creatures, have been reported for nearly a century. Some describe the creature as a Dogman or a werewolf, others believe it is a Bigfoot. But all witnesses agree, it’s terrifying and keeps many of the locals from wandering off too far in the darkness of night. Numerous reports of Dogman-like creatures have terrorized local farmers in the area, including the Lockett family in 1948. Their family is said to have been surrounded by violent Dogmen, eventually running the family off their own property. Other encounters include a power company lineman being surrounded by a pack of dogmen while he sat in his work truck late one night, and numerous people coming face-to-face with dogmen while driving at night.
