About this episode

This episode tells the heartbreaking story of the killing of Sara Sharif, a child who suffered from severe abuse and was failed by the system meant to protect her.

A child of ten. Approximately one hundred injuries. A two-bedroom flat in Surrey. A flight to Pakistan. A handwritten note left next to her body. And a system that had been watching her household for over a decade. This is the story of a case that horrified the UK and beyond-- a case of bruises, broken trust, unanswered warnings, and a little girl who had been failed by the very people meant to protect her. This is the heartbreaking story of the killing of Sara Sharif.   For extra episodes, early access, silly bloopers, subscribe at: https://www.patreon.com/thedesistudios   Join our YouTube family: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCnbfV0YvrxWMq3h0hmo13Jg/join   For fastest updates, follow our socials at: https://www.instagram.com/desicrime/Aryaan https://www.instagram.com/aryaanmisra/Aishwarya https://www.instagram.com/aishwaryasinghs/   Order our book, Desi Crime, available now on Amazon:https://amzn.in/d/0WyttKW   To buy Desi Studios merch, visit: https://kadakmerch.com/collections/desi-studios Hosted on Acast.
