Eve Rosemary discusses her choice to save sex for marriage and the reasons behind it, addressing cultural pressures and the Church's teachings.
I’m 23 years old, and I’ve been choosing to save sex for marriage for as long as I can remember. And honestly? We’re still going strong. But why? What is sex actually for? Why does God ask us to wait? In this episode, I’m sharing a talk I gave to the “Huskies for Life” group at Michigan Technological University about saving sex for marriage and navigating relationships in college. We get into why the Church asks us to wait, not just what the rules are. We talk about the goodness of the body, God’s design for relationships, making moral decisions when you’re surrounded by a culture that normalizes hookup culture, the practical reasons for saving sexual intimacy for marriage, and what it actually looks like to live this out in college.
