Speaking to a graduating class, she shares that her favorite line from The Seat of the Soul is that when personality comes to serve the energy of the soul, that is authentic empowerment - and she invites listeners to consider what it looks like to actually live that alignment. Oprah explains that everyone carries both a personality shaped by skills, talents, and passions, and a soul with its own deeper purpose. The real work isn't choosing between the two - it's learning to align them, so that what a person does with their life reflects who they truly are at the soul level. The solution: when your personality aligns with soul purpose, no one can touch that sense of certainty - a person wakes up energized, clear, and unshakably connected to their reason for being here.
