It started as a weekend fork of figma-export and grew into a production tool with Pkl configs, platform plugins, granular caching, MCP support, DocC docs, and a GitHub Action. In production, ExFig cut iOS illustration export from 154s to 37s, with cache-hit runs around 3s, and reduced Android export from 576s to 84s.
