“I have all these learned behaviors, and … was seeing them play out in my own family, with my own children, and thinking about the generational transference of hurt and wounds and wanting to do what I could to minimize that.” – Carrie Levine Certified nurse-midwife and functional medicine practitioner Carrie Levine has had a lifelong interest in deep exploration. She completed the Hoffman Process in 2024, having learned about patterns years earlier from reading Bob Hoffman’s book, No One Is to Blame . She truly understood Bob Hoffman’s realization that “No one is to blame.” Self-described as weird when young, Carrie explored a variety of unusual passions as a teen, including challenging activities in nature. In early adulthood, Carrie led women through outdoor experiential educational adventures, guiding them to become skilled and empowered in a variety of settings. Later, as she embarked on a new career in medicine, Carrie drew parallels between supporting women in nature and supporting them in the labor room.
