Gareth Houston discusses the recent discovery of new Mozart flute pieces and the history behind their long concealment.
We got a new Mozart flute piece before GTA6, and this week I’m breaking down how that possibly happened. Tucked away in Paris’ Bibliothèque nationale de France, 7 short Mozart pieces for flute and harp were discovered in February 2026. They got their debut performance on the 21st June, so I look at what happened in that time and why it took the French 250 odd years to find them. Grma x Listen to the pieces (until 22nd July 2026) https://www.radiofrance.fr/francemusique/podcasts/relax/premiere-mondiale-ecoutez-un-inedit-de-mozart-decouvert-par-la-bnf-5404035 Inline G Merch ⭐️ www.Inlineg.myshopify.com Inline G Patreon ⭐️ www.patreon.com/TheInlineGFlutePodcast Inline G will ALWAYS be free of charge, but signing up to the Patreon helps let this podcast reach new heights, if you can afford it.
