About this episode

Savanah Hernandez shares her experience of being assaulted during a protest and discusses the implications of political violence in America.

Just days ago we witnessed yet another attempted attack involving President Trump—marking a deeply concerning moment in today’s political climate. Tensions across the country continue to rise, and the divide between Americans is becoming more volatile by the day. I haven’t recognized our new reality since the tragic loss of my friend, Charlie Kirk—an event marking how political violence celebrated by the left. On April 11, 2026, journalist Savanah Hernandez was covering anti-ICE protests in Minnesota when the situation escalated. While reporting outside a federal building, she was surrounded and physically assaulted by a family. FBI has since charged three people in connection with the attack. For many young conservatives, incidents like this raise real concerns about safety, free speech, and the risks of simply showing up.. In today’s episode, Savanah shares her firsthand experience—what happened that day, how it’s impacted her mentally, and how she’s navigating the aftermath. We also discuss the broader implications of political violence, media bias, and what it means for the future of open dialogue in America. https://www.youtube.com/@SavSays Ep. 151 - - - Today's Sponsors…
