This week Heff is joined by original co-host of The Keeper League Podcast, Kaes, to review Round 16 of the 2026 AFL Fantasy season from a draft and keeper league perspective. Sam Cumming was one of the most encouraging names of the round after spending the day in the Richmond midfield. With 21 CBAs and an 83-point score, he’s starting to look like a genuine fantasy player of the future. We discuss whether this is the start of something coaches can properly buy into, or if we still need to see a bit more. Josh Lai also caught the eye for Port Adelaide. He hasn’t quite put the fantasy numbers together yet, but there are signs there. With 10 marks from just 13 disposals, he showed he can intercept and find the ball in the right spots, so we look at whether there’s something developing from a keeper league point of view. Zeke Uwland put up his best score of the season for Gold Coast, finishing with 86 from a half-back role. It was his first score above 70 for the year, so we dig into whether the role has changed, whether the score is repeatable, and what to make of his upcoming matchup against Collingwood.
