The episode discusses the tasting of five special release rye whiskeys from Jack Daniel's.
Just last year, Jack Daniel's released Tanyard Hill Rye to much acclaim. On the heels of that release, they surprised the entire enthusiast community by releasing five different ryes via their White Rabbit Gift Shop. Each of these special release bottles are 8-10 years old and range in proof from 142.7 to 146.1. These five batches comes from three different Jack Daniel’s barrel house locations: Coy Hill, Boiler Hill, and Fire Brigade Fields. A total of 129 barrels were used for this release, and these barrels were laid down between February 2016 and August 2017. First and foremost, we would like to give a shout out to our listener David who graciously provided the samples to make this episode possible. But, how do these bottles taste? We took a long trip with many twists and turns to find out. You won't want to miss our take on these highly limited and coveted releases. If you've tasted them, we want to know what you think. Cheers. -------------------------- Socials IG: https://www.instagram.com/themashupky FB: https://www.facebook.com/themashupky YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@themashupky Join our community on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/TheMashUpBourbonPodcast…
