About this episode
Gareth Kane discusses low carbon growth and investment strategies with Lauren Juliff from the Clean Growth Fund.
This week, I'm joined by Lauren Juliff of the Clean Growth Fund. The fund seeks out early stage entrepreneurs with the potential to abate more than 100,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide per annum and give them the money and guidance to bring their concepts to market. One of the themes of our discussion is that switching investment from high carbon industries to lower carbon sectors isn't enough – cash is required to disrupt the system through innovation. We also discuss the drawbacks in reporting, but the challenges in forecasting future potential of technology. The listener offer on our Net Zero for Business training course can be found here (Code: NETZERO4 if required). This episode is brought to you by Terra Infirma Ltd – our Net Zero Accelerator can turbocharge your Sustainability programme. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
