This episode reviews recent sustainability news, including energy records and the UK's carbon budget, while discussing Tony Blair's views on Net Zero and the concept of a climate emergency.
The Sustainability Show is our four weekly review show. There's been plenty of news in the last four weeks with the possibility of the Strait of Hormuz reopening to fossil fuels, a number of energy records met and the UK Government starting the process of adopting the seventh carbon budget. Ex UK PM Tony Blair also popped up with his views on Net Zero amongst plenty of other issues. I also review the three interviews we've had on the pod, pulling out the key learning point from each before discussion my thoughts on the National Emergency Briefing documentary and, in particular, whether we should use the phrase 'climate emergency'.
