Inside Big Finish: Doctor Who's Lisa Bowerman and Peter Purves
About this episode
Peter Purves interviews Lisa Bowerman about her career and contributions to Big Finish Productions.
One of the great joys of this podcast is catching up with friends and colleagues I've worked with over many years. This time I'm delighted to welcome Lisa Bowerman. Best known to Doctor Who fans as the iconic Bernice Summerfield, Lisa has also played a major role in shaping Big Finish Productions as a director and creative force behind countless audio dramas. Since 1998 Big Finish has become one of the world's leading audio drama producers and Lisa was there from the beginning. Having worked together for more than 20 years, I was thrilled to sit down with Lisa to discuss her remarkable career, the craft of audio storytelling and what really happens behind the scenes at Big Finish. I hope you enjoy. Adieu!
