About this episode

Ashley Williams discusses her work with Mind the Movement and her extensive experience in political organizing.

Today I have a conversation with the Founder and Executive Director of “Mind the Movement”, The first mental health fund for democracy and movement workers. For the past 8 years, Ashley Williams has built and led national democracy and political programs. She’s the creator of the largest political organizing training of all time where she trained 60,000 people in 4 weeks through a partnership between Crooked Media and Organizing Together 2020. Prior to her work at Organizing Together, she managed Swing Left’s College Fellowship Program, served as the Deputy Campaign Director for the national nonpartisan program Power the Polls, and served as Managing Director for an advocacy consulting firm. Most recently she was the Senior Advisor of Student Engagement for Save the Children's, followed by time at Harris for President HQ where she was the National Out-of-State Volunteer Director.
