The fight saw Benavidez dominating from the first bell. Benavidez displayed tremendous power and hand speed that frustrated Zurdo all night. Everything came together in the 4th round when Benavidez landed a flurry of hooks knocking zurdo down with the final left hook in the combinations. Despite the heavy hits, Zurdo got up and kept trying to fight forward but it was all over in the 6th round when Benavidez KO’d Zurdo in the 6th Round to add to more world titles to his trophy case.
