About this episode

The episode discusses Sony's decision to stop producing physical game discs and the implications for consumer rights, alongside Xbox's business changes and a nostalgic look at the N64.

Sony has declared they will no longer put their games on physical discs starting in 2028. And that's fantastic news! As long as you enjoy news about corporations encroaching on consumer rights and shrinking what little ownership we have over our purchases. And, by golly, who doesn't? In other sordid news, Xbox (i.e., XBOX) plans to "reset" their business in clever, never before seen ways... Oh, wait, it's just more layoffs. Jesus. We swear there's some fun to be had in this episode under all the rubble. For example, we talk about the N64 being our sexual awakening! Um. Maybe listen to this one with earphones.
