About this episode

Seth Gruber and Eric Metaxas discuss the spiritual and historical truths behind America's founding and the American Revolution.

In today’s episode, Seth Gruber talks with his good friend Eric Metaxas about the real truth behind the American Revolution and the profound spiritual foundations of America’s birth. Was America merely a child of the Enlightenment, or was it deeply shaped by the Reformation? Eric shares just the surface of his incredible research into the forgotten beginnings of the nation, along with exclusive insights from his new book, Revolution: The Birth of the Greatest Nation in the History of the World, releasing June 2nd and available for preorder now. This conversation challenges the sanitized version of history many Americans were taught in school. The Revolution was not led by deist warmongers, nor was it fought by a perfectly unified country. Behind the War for Independence were stories of conviction, sacrifice, providence, and a vision of liberty rooted far deeper than modern classrooms often admit. Seth and Eric expose the beautiful, buried truths behind America’s founding and why remembering them matters now more than ever. Pre-order REVOLUTION today and rediscover the story of America’s birth.https://ericmetaxas.com/books/revolution/ Shop EveryLife, the ONLY diaper company rooted…
