What happens when you wake up to the contradictions all around you after working in a system for decades? Well, for Rachel Maurice, physician for 30 years and anesthesiologist for 20, it meant leaving it all behind to rebuild in a whole new paradigm of health and how the body works. She worked inside one of BC's largest trauma centres, and then 2020 happened... the mask mandates contradicted everything she'd learned and practiced, the PCR tests didn't add up, a medical injection went from impossible to mandatory in months. And when Rachel refused to accept the injection, her name appeared on a public board — the lone holdout in the OR. She walked out in October 2021, never to return.
