Victory! United States Supreme Court Delivers Victory for Women and Girls’ Sports

Washington, D.C. – June 30, 2026: Today, the United States Supreme Court released a decision in two cases: West Virginia v. BPJ and Hecox v. Little in favor of keeping men and boys out of women’s sports. This decision is a landmark victory after many notable women athletes have shared their stories of having to surrender victories and their safety when they were forced to compete against male athletes. Texas Values signed onto a legal amicus brief with other family policy organizations in support of female athletes in this case. Mary Elizabeth Castle, Director of Government Relations for Texas Values, said: “Today is a monumental day for women and girls in the United States. What the Supreme Court decided today was simply the truth. No woman or girl should have her victory in competition or her privacy in locker rooms be taken from her.
