The episode features an interview with Kevin Boland discussing the troubled launch of Project Motor Racing and its future updates.
Project Motor Racing’s launch was… sub-optimal, to be kind. Graphics issues, strange collisions, unreliable multiplayer and an uninspired career mode were layered over inconsistent driving dynamics. A hot mess, Traxion delivered a 5/10 verdict. Since then, however, a spate of patches, updates and hotfixes have tried to quell our concerns, and later this month, a ‘Patch 2.0’ will be released. To understand what went wrong, and what the future holds, here’s a frank interview with Kevin Boland, Founder and Chief Development Officer at PMR creator Straight4 Studios.
