He talks about the origins of SOB X RBE, his legendary hip-hop group formed in Vallejo, which carried the spirit of the Bay into a new generation while drawing from outside influences like the scenes in LA and Chicago. DaBoii is one of music’s most levelheaded, principled artists, resisting the industry and society’s constant pull toward selling out for clout.
