About this episode

Brent discusses the importance of long-term thinking in financial literacy from a Christian perspective at the Reformed Educator’s Conference.

The following is a talk Brent delivered in-person at the Reformed Educator’s Conference last week. This is an event where reformed teachers and principals from across Canada get together to focus on one topic and discuss curriculum and teaching strategies that can be implemented in classrooms. The theme this year was financial literacy and faithful stewardship. How can young people learn what they need to know to prepare them for the world they’re stepping into… from a Christian worldview. I was requested to speak on the topic of short-term vs. long-term thinking…of course as it relates to money in our world today. I’ve never done a talk like this before, So let me know what you think! A huge thank-you John and the team and all the educators for having me. Send your feedback to hello@twostewards.ca
