🎙️ Golfweek Spotlight – Frear Park Two-Day Major Recap What a weekend at Frear Park. Two days, tough pin locations, fast greens, pressure-packed putts, and a leaderboard that had everybody talking. This wasn’t just another stop on the Golfweek Amateur Tour — this felt like a major championship. For this Golfweek Spotlight segment, we brought on D Flight champion Brian DeBell after an absolute heater of a weekend. And when we say heater… we mean HEATER. Brian didn’t just win the flight — he cleaned house. Between the D Flight victory, multiple skins, a closest-to-the-pin, and cashing in on the massive carryover 2-putt pool from The Swan, he walked away with over $700 for the weekend. That’s the kind of weekend every tour player dreams about. We also had Brad “Scrounge” DiPietro jump on with us to break down his rollercoaster weekend. Brad came out firing on Saturday and looked like he was ready to make a serious run, but Sunday at Frear Park reminded everybody how brutal that course can be once things start slipping. We talked about where the round got away from him, the mental grind of trying to hold it together, and how one bad stretch at Frear can turn into three or four holes…
