As Christians, it’s vital to think and see clearly (Romans 12:1-2). This is a great difficulty in an age full of intentional distractions, snares, and confusion. We live in a world where we perhaps know how things work, but sadly don’t know what things mean anymore. Truth has become elusive. This is the devil’s scheme, planned from the beginning, as shown in the garden (Genesis 3). The world’s dogma is to live and learn by jumping from one experience to another always promising the next leap will fill the desires of the heart. This is a fallacy. The world without God is incapable of fixing itself (Romans 8:22). This is an undeniable historical fact. Regardless, the world tragically holds onto unbelief by claiming “I shall be safe, though I walk in the stubbornness of my own heart” (Deuteronomy 29:19). We have to help ourselves, and others, to abandon this fallacy by embracing…
