(Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark and Adam McManus 2026 Global Persecution of Christian Index released International Christian Concern released its 2026 Global Persecution Index. The report highlights 20 countries where Christians face persecution. These countries include China, Cuba, India, Iran, and Nigeria. The report also put a spotlight on leaders of countries where persecution is worsening. These leaders include Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega, Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa, and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The report noted, “Despite mounting repression, Christianity continues to grow in unexpected places.” Examples of this include the Iranian house church movement and China’s underground churches.
