Happy New Year! What better way to bring in 2026 than ..err... listening to music from over 30 years ago! But regardless, time to jump into one of the most influential years in the history of the scene, 1993. The sound that year was defined by a shift toward faster, darker, and more complex beats. The Jungle/Drum & Bass sound embedded now. Hardcore was flying in 93 too, but we’ll get to that in Pt.2. For this first part we have everything from Lemon D to LTJ, Scott & Keith to Studio Pressure.
