Neil Shenvi on Resolution 9: Seven Years Later
About this episode
Neil Shenvi discusses the implications of Resolution 9 and his views on Critical Race Theory seven years after its introduction.
Monique and Krista were joined by Neil Shenvi to clear up the rumors and misinformation surrounding Resolution 9—the 2019 Southern Baptist Convention statement that described Critical Race Theory as a “helpful analytical tool.” Neil is one of evangelicalism’s earliest and most vocal critics of CRT. He explains what he actually said in 2019, reacts to the key language of the resolution, and shares whether his position has changed seven years later. All The Things #236 Season 8, Episode 16
