It is dishonest and a violation of the implications of the Third Commandment on honesty to have dishonest weights, measures, and scales that steal from the customer. With weights and measures being true to what they are claimed to be, you do not have the issue of some people in a society trying to scam others in a society in this way and economic transactions are more trustworthy across the board…
