Contrary Winds, Troubled Waters, and You in the Boat
About this episode
Dr. J. Vernon McGee discusses how the presence of trouble does not indicate the absence of the Lord, using the story of the disciples in Matthew 14 as a backdrop.
The presence of trouble does not mean the absence of the Lord. In Matthew 14, the disciples are exactly where Jesus told them to be—and still they find themselves battling wind and waves. Dr. J. Vernon McGee brings us into that storm and shows us a Savior who saves just at the right time. If you’re rowing hard against the current, be encouraged: the Lord has not lost sight of you, and He will see you through.
