About this episode
Jeff Hendrix discusses the significance of Jesus appearing to his disciples in John 20:19–31 and the implications for those who seek to believe in the risen Christ.
Jeff Hendrix on John 20:19–31: On the second Sunday of Easter, we see Jesus appearing to his disciples in a locked room. He speaks Peace, breathes on them, and gives them the Holy Spirit and a commission. The problem is...one of them wasn't there. This passage is for us...those who weren't there but want to believe in the risen Christ. He calls us blessed and offers us the same thing he offered those disciples on that day.
