About this episode

The episode covers the funeral for mosque shooting victims, an attack on a Trump supporter, and Memorial Day travel predictions.

Thousands of people attended the funeral service honoring the victims from Monday's attack on the Islamic Center of San Diego. A man was nearly beaten to death outside his Escondido home, which is decorated in pro-President Donald Trump memorabilia. Plus, Triple-A is predicting a busy travel season for Memorial Day weekend. NBC7's Steven Luke breaks down these stories and more, along with the forecast from meteorologist Sheena Parveen on May 22, 2026.
