“We Rescued Her from ISIS… Now We’re Fighting Our Own State” — U.S. Army Vet Joins Tomi Lahren
About this episode
U.S. Army veteran Brendan Jones discusses his journey of rescuing his dog Lucy from ISIS and the subsequent legal battles over her status as a dangerous dog.
U.S. Army veteran Brendan Jones says his dog Lucy helped him survive the stress of war during deployment in the Middle East — and he ultimately rescued her from ISIS-controlled territory and brought her home to America. Now, after a series of disputes tied to Virginia’s dangerous dog laws, Lucy has been taken from Brendan and his family, sparking national attention and a growing movement online to #SaveLucy. In this emotional interview, Brendan opens up about the incidents that led to Lucy being declared a “dangerous dog,” the mistakes he says he made along the way, and why he believes compassion, grace, and common sense should prevail before it’s too late.
