A family discovers eerie occurrences after moving into a secluded house by a forest.

A family moves into a secluded house by the edge of a forest because it was listed at a low price, but soon find out the reason why.  At first, they noticed that their dog would never venture into the forest, often stopping right at the edge, and would sometimes even sit and stare blankly at the trees for hours. Then, the family would hear footsteps from outside at night, and even persistent knocking on their door, but would never find a single hint that anyone had been there.
