In Mark 10:46-52, Bartimaeus is sitting on the sidelines when everything changes. When Jesus calls his name, he doesn't hesitate—he throws off his coat, leaves his old spot behind, and heads straight toward Jesus. That coat may have been comfortable. It may have felt safe. But sometimes the things we cling to can keep us from stepping into what God has next for us. As we begin this new series, we'll explore what it means to respond when Jesus calls, to let go of what holds us back, and to trust God enough to take the next step—even when we don't know exactly where it will lead. Join us this Sunday as we discover that sometimes faith begins with a simple but courageous decision: go ahead, take off your coat.
