Putting Kindness into Action
From Triple Gem of the North by Sathi

About this episode
Bhante Sathi discusses the importance of translating compassion into action and overcoming personal barriers to kindness.
What can a child’s mind do concerning compassion? In this podcast, Bhante Sathi explores the all too often dilemma between “wishing happiness” on others versus executing that action. Unlike a child-like perspective on the world, we unconsciously create barriers and walls of identity that make up who we think we are. But by developing a child-like sense of self and expectation, we can break down those barriers and cultivate the inner freedom required to extend genuine compassion for all living things.
