Maree explains how C8 Energy's Clean Tech Kit eliminates all lead-acid batteries from a commercial truck and replaces them with two core components: the SkelStart, a supercapacitor-based engine start module that delivers reliable cold-weather cranking with no hazmat concerns and over a million cycles, and a large-format lithium battery that powers the entire sleeper cab. Together, the system removes 500 to 700 pounds of lead-acid weight and replaces it with under 140 pounds of clean, low-maintenance technology.
