Tragically, just weeks after filming her first episodes, she was murdered in Los Angeles in a case that remains unsolved nearly 50 years later. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the murder of Barbara Colby. Investigators struggled with solving Barbara's murder, in large part, because they could not find a motive. On July 24, 1975, after teaching an acting class in Los Angeles, Barbara was talking with fellow actor James Kiernan in a parking lot when two armed men approached and shot and killed them both. Investigators initially explored possible links to a series of violent crimes that occurred in the Los Angeles area the same night.
