The episode pays tribute to Andy Williams and explores the career of Every Time I Die with a beginner's guide to their music.
Hello and welcome back to another episode of Trve. Cvlt. Pop! a podcast for your music needs. On this week's show Steve is joined by Jimi and Dazz from the Bangers & Mosh Podcast to talk about the sad news that we lost Andy Williams, wrestling star and former guitarist of Buffalo, New York hardcore band Every Time I Die, at the all too young age of 48 last week. As a tribute to him, we look at the incredible career of his band with a beginners guide to ETID. Formed in 1998, Every Time I Die released nine studio albums that straddled the line between pure metallic hardcore, Southern rock, melodic post-hardcore, groove metal and much much more until they abruptly split in 2022. They may not be the biggest band, but theirs is a back catalogue of rare quality, here we present the album to start with, the underrated classic, the album to avoid (if such a thing exists) and namecheck our own personal favourite live shows by the band.
Host: Stephen Hill
Guests: Jimi, Dazz
