Arc de Trump

Arc de Trump

From Two Voices, One Journey by Frank Kudla & Jan Keppler

May 26, 2026 · 51 min · Season 2 · Episode 3

About this episode

Jan and Frank document the colorful chapters of the Trump presidency, focusing on various controversies and personal reflections.

In this latest installment, Jan and Frank embark on what can only be described as a cataloging exercise — a modest attempt to document the more colorful chapters of the Trump presidency, from self-dealing litigation to the aggressive rebranding of America's architectural heritage. We left out the banner-festooned federal edifice, golden statues, the Trump Kennedy Center, and the Arc de Trump, owing to the sheer volume of available material. We should note, in the spirit of full disclosure, that we are somewhat out of practice, and certain details may have softened at the edges during their journey from memory to microphone. Our liberal listeners will no doubt have a supplemental list at the ready; we ran out of time. For our conservative friends: this is, at its heart, personal catharsis — the rhetorical equivalent of shouting into a throw pillow. Most of what we discuss has not, in any meaningful way, altered the texture of daily life. We just needed to vent.
