Ryan Watson shares his harrowing experience of being arrested in Turks and Caicos over ammunition found in his luggage and the subsequent fight for freedom.

In this episode, we welcome Ryan Watson to the studio. He and his wife were arrested in 2024 in Turks and Caicos for having loose rounds of ammunition in their luggage. In this interview, we discuss how the rounds were accidentally in his luggage to begin with, when the ammunition was found by security on their way out of the country, when he and his wife were both arrested and told that they would be getting a 12-year minimum prison sentence, how he was able to get his wife free of the island and how that ultimately resulted in him being shackled and imprisoned, the decision to go to war economically with the island, being violently targeted while on the island, the process of trying to gain his freedom, how then-Senator Markwayne Mullin began to intervene in the process, when he finally succumbed to the reality that he would likely not see his children for their entire childhood because he would be in prison, his sentencing process, how his nine-year-old son turned this crazy situation into an opportunity to spread the Gospel, and much more.
