About this episode

Simon Knego shares her journey of overcoming self-doubt and finding real confidence through challenging experiences.

It wasn’t until I was asked to do something that shook me out of my shell that things finally started to shift for me. Summiting Mt. Kilimanjaro at age 42 was both the hardest and best thing I’d ever done for myself. It taught me that we need to do the things that we think we cannot do, the things that seem impossible, because THAT is where true growth happens.  After conquering what seemed like an “impossible” goal, I felt inspired and empowered to conquer all of my daily doubts: comparison, judgment, fear of what others will think of me… The decision to climb MY mountain of insecurities set me on the path to becoming the best version of myself and it changed all aspects of my life and my family’s life.
