The episode discusses how the church in Jerusalem responds to persecution by either staying to support the community or scattering to spread the gospel.

As the church in Jerusalem is persecuted some stay behind to keep the community strong and some scatter to proclaim the gospel in new places. Either way we see God uses his people for his purposes in response to his grace in Christ. Scripture Reading: Acts 8:1-25 Digging Deeper Questions: Are you a "Churchlover?" Why or why not? What makes it difficult? Where do you see God using you right now? Is there a place or people he is calling you to? What has it looked like for you to receive the gospel personally? Did that change how you approached your faith?
