At 1:47 AM on February 1st, 2026, a doorbell camera in the Catalina Foothills region of Tucson, Arizona transmitted disturbing images. It showed a masked figure wearing gloves, dark clothing, and a backpack approaching the front door. He had a gun holstered awkwardly near his groin and tried to obscure the camera before destroying it. Hours later, the home's lone occupant, 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie, would fail to appear for her church's virtual Sunday service. Members of the church would contact Nancy's relatives, who were at her house within an hour. There, they discovered all of Nancy's important belongings inside and the back doors propped up, but could find no trace of her...
