The details reveal that all the members of Shaun's family have been killed while walking home by an unknown figure with a hammer, that is until one revelation is made after all hope was lost. Shaun’s 9 year old daughter, Josie, had survived the attack. There was little evidence, no suspects under suspicion, and Josie was unable to talk after her surgery.
