We are BACK, cousins! Long time no see. In this jam-packed episode of Urban Whispers, me (LaCie Knight) and my @Sloane_Bueller finally got back together to chop it up after a wild month. We're getting into the inaugural Chocolate City Lit Fest in DC and Pedals & Prose Fest in St. Louis, because girl, festival season is HERE. We're spilling all the tea on the event logistics, the app line-jumping situation (yes, I was the one accidentally breaking the line, no I am not sorry), and why the Midwest desperately needs more Black romance love. I'm also telling y'all about taking LJ to see Bruno Mars for her 15th birthday and Sloane is recapping the Boyz II Men tour stop where Spectacular came down to the floor in her section and almost ended somebody's marriage. Then we're getting into our recent reads and y'all, we read a LOT.
