About this episode

This episode discusses the significance of the resurrection and the hope it brings through faith in Jesus.

The cross was more than a moment of suffering—it was a moment where the weight of all humanity’s sin collided with the love of God. When darkness covered the earth and the earth shook, it revealed a powerful truth: without Christ, we are lost, unable to find our way on our own. Yet even in that darkness, grace was present. A thief hanging beside Jesus, with a life full of mistakes and no time left to change, simply said, “Remember me.” That small act of faith opened the door to eternal life. Jesus didn’t require him to fix his past—He responded to his faith. This is the hope of the gospel: you don’t have to earn it. You don’t have to perfect yourself. Jesus has already done the work. The resurrection proves it. It declares that sin, death, and failure do not have the final word—Jesus does. So today, stop striving to be “good enough.” Instead, surrender. Let God begin (and continue) His work in you. The same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in your life.
