Whether dismissed as folklore, misidentification, or something far more difficult to explain, many Marines stationed at Twenty-Nine Palms have reported encounters they have never been able to forget. In this episode, we examine firsthand accounts from Marines spanning the 1970s through the present day who describe encounters with mysterious humanoid figures, massive canine-like creatures, and other unexplained beings reported throughout the Twenty-Nine Palms training area. From stories resembling skinwalkers to strange nighttime encounters in the Mojave Desert that defy easy explanation, these are the experiences that continued to stay with those who lived through them.
